MEET YOUR PASTOR, Rev. Anthony Innman
“My prayer is to be remembered as a leader who imitated Jesus Christ. To be someone who showed the love of Christ to all through my preaching, teaching, and relationships.”
Anthony’s START IN MINITRY
Antohny began his ministry journey as a volunteer youth pastor in 1993 at the First Methodist Church in Stanton, TX. In 1994, he transitioned to a part-time youth pastor role at the same church. Over the next 12 years, he balanced his work as a Power Lineman with his part-time youth ministry at the First Methodist Church in Ft. Stockton, TX, and Lutie Watkins Memorial Methodist Church in Llano, TX.
Anthoy’s transition into FULL TIME MINISTRY
In 2006, he committed to full-time ministry as the youth pastor at St. Paul Methodist Church in Amarillo, TX. While at St. Paul, he became a candidate for ordained ministry and was licensed as a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church in 2012. Antohny’s first pastoral appointment was to Miami Methodist Church in Miami, TX, in 2012.
APPOINTED in Vernon Texas
He was then appointed to First Methodist in Dumas, TX, in 2017, and later to First Methodist in Vernon, TX, in 2020. In 2012, he entered Iliff School of Theology, where he earned a Master of Divinity degree in 2016. He was ordained as an Elder in the United Methodist Church in 2019 and later as an Elder in the Global Methodist Church in 2023.
MINSTERING to Those Behind Bars
Pastor Anthony Innman extends his ministry to the local jail, where he meets with inmates every Thursday. As the sole minister approved by the jail, he leads Bible studies and spiritual discussions with an average of 25 male inmates in the jail library and 8 female inmates in the booking area. Church members can support this impactful ministry through prayer and donations to provide Bibles and spiritual resources for the inmates.
